NHS 111 SERVICE

NHS Direct and the Out of Hours Doctor Service have amalgamated into a service called NHS 111.

When the surgery is closed and you require medical advice you should simply dial 1 1 1 from any phone including mobiles. Calls to 111 are free and if they believe that you require urgent medical attention they will offer you an appointment at their out of hours clinic at West Norwich Hospital, or send a duty doctor to see you or arrange for an ambulance crew to attend you.

The Patient Satisfaction Survey for 2012/13 is now closed. May we thank the 200 patients who took the time to complete the survey form.

In summary, we intend to replace the waiting room carpets, replace the wiaitng room toys, improve information provison, try to improve the car parking situation and look at providing a water cooler. Full details are in the report. 

TRAVEL CLINIC and YELLOW FEVER CENTRE

Magdalen Medical Practice is pleased to announce that it now provides a travel clinic service to BOTH registered and non-registered patients.

We are also an accredited Yellow Fever Clinic.
