IMPORTANT NEWS: Along with the rest of Norwich this practiec will be closed on the afternoon of Wednesday 23rd May for a protected staff learning event. During the course of the afternoon the NHS 111 service has been contracted to deal with any urgent cases. Please simply ring 111.

It is with regret that we annouce the departure of Dr Helen Sharp. Helen and her husband have decided to return to her mother country, New Zealand.

She will leave the Practice at the end of June.

We are most fortunate to have Dr Pahlavi Dave join us as a partner from the start of July. Dr Dave will be taking over the care of the patients who are currently registered with Dr Sharp. Dr Dave is currently looking after Dr Minns patients while he cycles across Asia.

On a brighter note we can tell you that Dr Robert Minns is taking a four month break from the surgery to concentrate on a fundraising venture. He intends to bicycle from Instanbul in Turkey to Urumqi in the Republic of China. His solo bike ride will take him from Turkey to China via Georgia, AzerBaijan, Kazakhstan, Ubekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Last Friday, 27 April - some 8 weeks into his journey - Bob was in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan and some 2,000 miles from OIstnabul as the crow flies.

Bob is raising funds for two very worthwhile charities, Clic Sargent which helps support those younger persons suffering cancer and Against Malaria Foundation which puts ALL money it raises to providing mosquito nets to those in need in Africa and Asia.

Collection Tins are to be found on the reception desk and links to his donation pages will appear in due course.
